As has been mentioned before Puerto Vallarta offers plenty of room on beautiful white sand beaches, seven world-class golf courses and even water parks that kids of all ages will enjoy. But these are just the start of the huge list of reasons why you should visit this Pacific Ocean resort destination in Mexico.

If you are a fan of art and culture there are over thirty different museums, art galleries and other historical attractions available to explore during the day. The city of Puerto Vallarta also is home to a sculpture first unveiled in 1976 known as “Caballeo del Mar” which is a nine foot tall Seahorse. For many years this statue has been a major tourist attraction with many people lining up each day to take a picture underneath it.

If you are traveling without little kids in tow, the party scene and nightlife in Puerto Vallarta may beckon your senses. The beach section of Puerto Vallarta is actually huge when compared to other destinations; over twenty-six miles of whit sand on the Banderas Bay is available for you and your family. There are plenty of areas to just lie out and relax in the sun, make sandcastles and even some areas where ATV riding is allowed. If you are traveling with children you will be happy to know there are several water parks in the area with slides, wave pools and all kinds of water amusement.

If playing a few rounds of golf is something you always try to accomplish during a vacation, the Puerto Vallarta resort area is perfect for you. With seven world-class courses open to you, and many others with lower rankings, there is almost always a tee time available.
